Knitting and Regenerating

Weaving with love,
          regenerating consciences

We are U K' AAN AM, a collective formed by women from Sotuta, Yucatán, united by the passion for weaving and a mission to preserve our traditions and the environment. We work in the "Casa de la Cultura Maya Nachi Cocom," a 17th-century castle where, each day, we weave stories with our skilled hands, like a spider weaving its web. We believe in and promote community work, female empowerment, and the local economy.
